7 Day Inside Passage Cruise Trip:
These are the items that we feel are most important to take on your
7 day Alaska
Spring Cruise.
Clothing
- 1 Pair
Waterproof shoes or boots - Vasque
Ranger or Merrell Siren
- 1 Pair
walking shoe for the ship - Sperry Bluefish Boat Shoe or Softspot Tally
walking shoe
- 4 pair
Merino wool sock (7 pair if you don't do laundry) - Smartwool Socks really
help hold the warmth in your hiking boot, while keeping your feet dry!
- 3 pair
quick dry underwear (they dry overnight) - ExOfficio Bikinis or Briefs are
easy to rinse out at night and they are ready in the morning for next
adventure.
- 1 set
of thermal underwear (for glacier viewing) - Hot Chillys is the warmest
for the glaciers and dog sledding but the Terramar Silk is an all around
perfect weight for everyday usage.

Quick dry tee shirts for layering (they dry overnight) - The North Face
Pantoll Tee (for ladies) and Ex Officio Give-N-Go Tee (for men) is a nice
weight.

Long sleeve shirts - ExOfficio Dryflylite Quick Dry Shirt for the ladies,
they roll up for short sleeve and are very breathable. They are nicely
fitted look for the more feminine look. Under Armour Long Sleeve Sun
Protection Shirts are great for the men.

pants or jeans (1 pair of quick dry pants recommended) Levi's are a good
weight and the quick dry pants are handy for the rainforest.

Fleece jacket - The North Face Khumbu or Denali Fleece Jacket is the
perfect weight, just put your rain jacket over this and you have the best
of both worlds.
- 1 Rain
jacket (rain pants are optional) - The North Face Venture is a feather
weight and packs into its self. The pants are great for pulling on over
your jeans...blocks the wind.
Accessories
- 1 Daypack - Ameribag is perfect for day pack
- 1 Travel Umbrella - Always handy to have
- 1 Pair Travel Binoculars - Nikon Travellite V 8 x 25
is light and easy to use
- Sunglasses - Costa
Del Mar Polarized
- Camera, (Digital my personal favorite)
- Motion Eaze (works for water and air....I live with
this stuff!)
